The low profile connectors are hard to find, yet they normally ship the finished leads the day after ordering, often to studios or locations where I am filming and I’ve never had to ask for any adjustments or corrections; They are right first time, despite my requiring some unusual bespoke wiring. The APD-PS has been designed to use in conjunction with the APD when powering the unit from a mains source. The dummy power supply provides up to 90wh of power into the APD which allows a selection of equipment to be powered.
When users run their kit from the above setup the APD-PS and the APD the power supply is used alongside an NP1 Battery to allow for the potential possibility of the mains failing when used in remote locations. Should this happen the NP1 battery will take over the load and provide power to the equipment meaning there is no loss of power.
